DEATH BY MAGIC
With eight episodes filmed across four different continents, DMC’s Netflix series DEATH BY MAGIC (broadcast to more more than 190 countries worldwide) was created as a tribute to those remarkable magicians who lost their lives in pursuit of this ancient craft. Whilst DMC was forced to seek medical treatment after three of the eight death-defying stunts, DEATH BY MAGIC remains the most expensive magic series ever created for television (with a production budget of $10 million).
BEYOND MAGIC with DMC
Having created one of National Geographic’s most-watched pilot episodes of all time (CARDSHARK, a documentary that explored the links between magic and card cheating) DMC was then commissioned to create an eight-part series that celebrated the greatest myths, legends and figures from the history of magic. BEYOND MAGIC WITH DMC was a smash hit, it continues to air worldwide more than ten years later, and is currently available to watch via Disney Plus.
